To say Daniel knows his stuff would be an understatement. To say he is hard-working, thoughtful, and dedicated feels inadequate. My father passed away in 2023, and I live in Texas. I needed someone who knew what they were doing so I hired Daniel Meegan to handle the sale of my father’s home. Daniel executed the sale of dad’s home and made sure that everything went as smoothly as possible. Right before the closing, an issue came up with a sea wall that had no record of ever having a final inspection. Even though this wall had been put up in 1998, 10 years before my father purchased the house, and some 26 years before I was trying to sell it, suddenly we had a problem. With Daniel’s counsel, we were able to close on the house on time, with this issue still needing to be rectified after closing. We were given the assurance that just filing some paperwork is all that would be needed to correct the issue. EXCEPT……. the City of Salem had lost all the paperwork, city employees were retired, deceased or on sick leave, the people who built the wall were deceased, and no one could find any paperwork, save for Daniel Meegan. Daniel worked for 8 months to rectify this issue AFTER he had already been paid his commission for selling the home. He went to several Salem council meetings, poured through files of old documents from the city, and tracked down the needed paperwork. He employed an engineer to inspect the wall again and went to the meeting one more time to represent me and make sure the closing of the house was completed. He did all this gratis, never once did he ask for more money. He simply did it because doing the right thing and doing it well was all he knew how to do. If you are buying or selling a house or have been put in the position of managing a loved one’s estate, do yourself a favor and hire the best, Daniel Meegan.

I had the good fortune and pleasure of meeting Daniel Meegan at what was one of the most difficult times in my life. I had emotionally supported my sister and her two sons through the death of her fifty-six-year-old husband to cancer.
